This page is dedicated in memory of the dogs that have long since passed on. We thought it was
important to recognize these amazing dogs who are no longer with us but which made us who we are today. They will be forever
remembered wherever they are.

He was sold
to me in 2005 from racing kennel out in Hinton. When I first got Zorro, he was very shy, but he has mellowed out enough that
I even trusted him to lead (Except that he liked to stop and pee on every vertical object). He rarely loped; instead he used
a very long stride to trot as fast as most of my dogs lope! I believe that he had wolf somewhere in his lines. Zorro
passed away after a severe fence fight destroyed his nerves in his front left leg. He had to be put down or face a life of
confinement in on a chain in extensive care. He will always be remembered as the gentleman with a big heart who never quit
pulling. I miss you so much but I remember that I will see you again one day.

This girl was my very first
sleddog. She loved to pull heavy loads, as long as she did not have to go fast. She had such a wonderful personality and temperament;
you could do anything with her. She loved to pull heavy loads of wood for our
wood stove. We ended up finding another family for her because she refused to keep up with the team as we got more dogs,
and we did not want to leave her alone on a chain all the time. Unfortunately, the family which adopted her has fallen out
of touch with us. Nevertheless, she will be well remembered.

Color: Black and White
Siberian X Sheppard
Eyes: Brown
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Sex: Female
Vixie was a
rescue dog. She had a very long body, short legs, and barked a lot sometimes. Although she was friendly, she was not
good around small kids as she knocked them over. She could lead, but at a slower pace. She was an excellent
child's dog because Heidi was her principal trainer and runner. She made a good family pet. Like other Sibes, given
the chance, she would run off. One time, (I've gotta add this) she escaped while we were unhooking the team. She ran across
a field and hooked her harness in the forest. She sat there a half mile away and barked, until we came to save her!!
She was adopted by a family where she will help train a younger dog to lead. Good Luck Vixen, we'll miss you.

DOB: April 24, 2006
Color: Sable
Siberian X Malamute
Eyes: Brown
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Sex: Male
Blayde is tan/black/white in color with a gorgeous
mask and lovable personality. Blayde is a dominant boy, and therefore a firm hand is required. He needs to know who’s
the alpha, especially when feeding (he is a malamute after all). Blayde is a great “ladies man”.
Blayde is a calm boy. He does not jump around or play a
whole lot, preferring to simply trot around and smell things. He was raised around kids and is gentle. He likes to be petted.
He stands nice while brushing is accustomed to tail pulling and such.
Blayde was raised as a sleddog, but he lacks the speed
required to run competitively. He prefers to truck along for miles are a steady pace. He was trained to be the leaddog up
front. He’d be ideal for a recreational team, especially in the back because he has a lot of power! He loves to run.
He should be kept active or else he risks becoming bored and destructive. Blayde has gone to live with a loving
family where he will enjoy being a couch potato more than a professional sleddog.
